LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDRB/WKYT) — An 18-year-old man was arrested Sunday in connection with the fatal shooting in Lexington that killed a 16-year-old and injured four others.

According to the Lexington Police Department, Jametrius Griffin was charged with murder, assault and tampering with physical evidence.

Five people were shot Saturday at Charles Young Park during East End Day. The four people injured were a 4-year-old, a 14-year-old and two adults. All were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Fayette County Coroner's Office identified the person killed Saturday as 16-year-old Di'Zhon Robertson. He died at UK Hospital just after 7 p.m.

Griffin was booked at the Fayette County Detention Center.
