LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Everyone looks forward to getting the "I Voted" sticker after submitting their ballots.
Now Indiana is calling on kids to decide what the next sticker will look like.
Secretary of State Diego Morales is asking for kids to submit their designs. The contest is a way to get children involved in the voting process.
"By inviting children to design stickers, we’re not only encouraging their creativity, also helping them learn about the importance of voting and civic engagement at a young age," Morales said in a news release. "I can't wait to see the sticker designs Hoosier kids create!"
The competition will be divided into three groups based on grade level.
The winning designs from each grade level will be featured on the stickers given to voters at the polls in November.
The second and third place winners from each grade level will receive recognition on social media and on Indiana Secretary of State's website.
Any student in Indiana can submit a design, they are due by Sept. 30.
More information on how to submit your designs can be found here.
