Last chance to snag discounted Derby-themed items at annual KDF yard sale next week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — If you missed getting your annual Derby glass in May, don't worry because soon you will have a second chance to snag official Derby Festival merchandise and collectables.

For one day only, the Kentucky Derby Festival will hold its annual summer yard sale where shoppers have a last chance to purchase Derby 150-themed items.

The yard sale will be on Friday, June 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kentucky Derby Festival office at 1001 South Third Street in Old Louisville.

Several items like Derby Festival T-shirts, pins, posters and vintage items — postcards, glassware and ornaments from past years — will be discounted for purchase.

Shoppers will also get a change to view The Derby Festival Pin Wagon, which showcases metal and plastic pins from 1973-2024. There will also be a chance to purchase some pins dating back to the 70s at a reduced price.

A large crowd is anticipated, and shoppers are encouraged to come early for the best selection and deals. Cash and credit cards will be accepted, all sales are final, and there are no holds on items.
