LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of Louisville's most popular pools will close in August for cleaning and maintenance.Â
The Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center on Reservoir Avenue in Crescent Hill will be closed from Aug. 1 until Sept. 3.Â
Louisville Parks and Recreation said it's an annual process. Staff will drain the pool then sanitize the pool and deck area. Crews will also install a new boiler, new piping, a UV lighting system and new starting blocks.
