LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A death investigation is underway after a 4-year-old boy was found unresponsive Sunday in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the 6100 block of Athens Drive around 9:20 a.m. to assist EMS.
According to police, a boy believed to be 4 years old was unconscious and unresponsive.
Police said despite life-saving measures, the boy died and no foul play is expected.
