LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The NuLu Business Association's annual Bock Fest and Wurst Fest returns this March for its ninth year.

The annual spring event known for its goat races, beer and wursts will be held Saturday, March 28 from 12-6 p.m.

The street festival spans four blocks of the NuLu neighborhood. The main event features adult and baby goat races, locally-crafted bock beer, live music, vendors, family-friendly activities and more.

Organizers said local breweries will serve up their 2026 bock beers and other selections, as well as craft cocktails and other spirits.

The featured race this year is the "News Flash Baby Goat Race," in which Louisville news anchors and meteorologists will have their goats race for a $500 donation to the charity of their choice.

The Kentucky Proud Wurst Fest is also part of the festival. Restaurants will go head to head putting their spin on the traditional dish. One restaurant will be crowned the Best of the Wurst Fest winner.

The NuLu 502, introduced last year, will make a return this year. The "micro marathon" kicks off the festivities at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, on Clay Street between Nanny Goat Strut and Billy Goat Strut.

Organizers said the "502 ft. run/walk/strut to kick off the festival. It invites festivalgoers to "work those beer drinking muscles while you sip and strut your way across the finish line in a completely unserious manner."

Registration includes chip timing, a NuLu 502 goat medal, a commemorative cup and your first Bock Fest beer. Officials said more details about the race would be released on a later date.
