STARS AND STRIPES BLOOD DRIVE

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The American Red Cross is encouraging people to donate blood to celebrate the Fourth of July.

The annual Stars, Stripes and Pints Blood Drive will be held July 1-2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UAW Local 862 Union Hall. That's located at 3000 Fern Valley Road in Louisville.

While all blood types are needed, donors with type O blood are most urgently needed.

All donors will receive a Broaster chicken dinner, one free ticket to a Six Flags theme park, including King's Island while supplies last, and a pair of American Red Cross x goodr sunglasses.
