LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local bank is offering free life-saving health screenings this Saturday in west Louisville.
Republic Bank is providing free dental screenings and prostate exams as part of its fifth annual Juneteenth event.
Studies show that Black Americans have a higher chance of oral cancers and Black men have a higher chance of prostate cancer because of lower screening rates.
The event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the YMCA on West Broadway.
There will also be Black and women-owned food and vendors on site.
