NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) — 2025 Harvest Homecoming has officially wrapped up, and festival leaders say it was a success.

As one of Indiana's largest festivals, thousands of people walked through the streets of downtown New Albany from Thursday through Sunday for the event.

"It's a lot to do, it's a lot of different vendors here, a lot of good food and good people," Kia Williams, who traveled from Louisville to the festival for the first time, said.

Williams said it won't be her last time.

"I can't believe all these years they've been having it, and I've never been over here, that's crazy. If I can go to the WorldFest every year I can definitely come over here as well," Williams said.

Madelyn Rhoda is from Oklahoma but came to the festival with her friend, who's from Kentuckiana.

"It's been fun to come to a new place and just experience a different little town and a downtown area," Rhoda said.

2025 Harvest Homecoming President, Glenn Dethy, said he's proud to see the streets filled with people from all over.

"It's not just New Albany, it's southern Indiana and that's what we really want to promote is come down see what we have, see what businesses that are here and our nonprofits, we want to support those," Dethy said.

He said they started planning for next year's event last week. Now it's time to wait another 365 days.

"This year went absolutely fabulous, I can't wait until next year," Dethy said.
