Conrad was on the hot seat Tuesday night over the traffic stop, in which 18-year-old Tae-Ahn Lea was hand-cuffed while officers frisked him and searched his car for weapons and drugs. Nothing was found.
Tae-Ahn Lea, 18, has hired legal council, and his attorney said she's preparing to sue the Louisville Metro Police Department for deprivation of rights, illegal detention and emotional distress.
The lawsuit, filed on behalf of the teen Monday in U.S. District Court in Louisville, claims that Tae-Ahn Lea's civil rights were violated when he was pulled over, searched and handcuffed by officers after he allegedly made a wide turn.
