Boone's Shell gas station on East Broadway dropped the price of gas to $2.07 a gallon for an hour and a half on Thursday.
Mayor Craig Greenberg said Louisville is now in a spot where the city could go back to using conventional gas because the city's air quality has improved.
In total, Beshear granted extended relief for 33 cities and counties that requested it.
