A group of more than 80 veterans returned to Louisville from the second Honor Flight Bluegrass of the year on Thursday, June 2, 2022. (WDRB photo)

The group landed at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport just after 10 p.m. after flying out at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Dozens of local veterans will be the guests of honor in the nation's capital on Wednesday, and the public is invited to give them a hero's welcome when they return.
