The council's new committee on equity and inclusion plans to study the city's land development code and how it might cause inequalities between east and west Louisville on Monday.
The Council's new Equity and Inclusion Committee unanimously passed a resolution Monday asking the city's planning commission to identify areas where the city's land development code should be more inclusive.
City officials hope to create a 20-year comprehensive plan for making its land code more equitable and want to hear residents' concerns.
