The Louisville police department's Public Integrity Unit concluded in a report released Wednesday that the detective who applied for the search warrant 'should be reviewed for criminal actions.'
Joshua Jaynes, the detective who sought the search warrant for Breonna Taylor's home, says there was enough evidence to issue the warrant despite questions about its legitimacy.
In addition to Joshua Jaynes, Detective Myles Cosgrove, who fired the bullet that killed Breonna Taylor, also received a pre-termination letter from Gentry on Tuesday, his attorney confirmed to WDRB News.
