In hopes of getting ahead of the findings from the Department of Justice Investigation, Louisville's mayor and police chief are outlining the fixes underway. 

Investigators said six women have been assaulted, one sexually. 

Though the department plans to have 41 new officers by the end of January, LMPD still has roughly 280 vacancies.
