Broken down and abandoned cars have long been a problem in Louisville with city officials estimating thousands on the street.
The idea would be to allow people who have cars towed to the LMPD tow lot off Frankfort Ave. to pick up their cars for free.
The goal is to free up some space in the overflowing lot and have fewer broken down cars on the side of the road.
