LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person was killed in a car crash Friday near Louisville's airport.
Officers were called to Interstate 65 North at Fern Valley Road around 5:30 p.m. on a reported rollover crash, Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson John Bradley said.
Once on scene, police found a single vehicle that had rolled over. Bradley said the operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the crash, which Bradley said is unknown at this time.
Police said the far left lane of I-65 north was closed as the scene was processed, but reopened at 7:30 p.m.
No additional details were immediately available.
