LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Animals and families alike got a festive start to the season Saturday at the Louisville Zoo.
The zoo's Beary Happy Holiday kicked off a monthlong celebration filled with activities for the whole family.
Zoo animals were given animal-themed holiday enrichment boxes with treats inside. Throughout the month, people can also visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and participate in a zoo-wide scavenger hunt for all ages for a chance to win prizes.
The Beary Happy Holiday runs every weekend through Dec. 21.
