LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville-based breakfast chain is continuing to grow across the country with more locations.
According to our partners at Business First, Biscuit Belly opened its 14th location in Summerville, South Carolina, on Feb. 4 and has plans to open locations in Greenville, South Carolina, and Wake Forest, North Carolina, in 2025.
The chain has three corporate stores located in Louisville.
"We're really putting pedal to the metal this year as far as trying to get new franchisees in the system," co-founder Chad Coulter said. "We have also raised some money with some investors, some of which are local here to Louisville and some are just people that we know outside of Louisville. We've raised money with them to continue to expand, specifically in the Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina markets. Those are our joint venture stores. We manage and operate those as if they were a corporate store."
Biscuit Belly was founded in 2019 and began franchising the next year.
