LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Target is closing 13 stores, including a location on Dixie Highway.
WDRB first reported in August that the Dixie Highway store would be closing.
This week, store employees were told the store would close its doors on January 30.
Employees are being offered the option to transfer to other stores.
A company spokesperson says the decision was not made lightly and comes after looking at the store's long term financial performance.
