LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Churchill Downs renewed its partnership with Ford Motor Company as the exclusive automotive partner of the Kentucky Derby.
According to a news release, Churchill Downs and Ford have had a longstanding partnership. Ford will be given exclusivity in the automotive category and an expanded footprint with interactive vehicle displays to promote fan interaction and brand experiences.
The new agreement goes through 2029. The new agreement includes the naming of the First Turn Club, which will now be called the Ford First Turn Club. Ford will also have luxury vehicle displays and new themed fan experiences at areas around the horse racing track.
"The Kentucky Derby is built on tradition and long-standing partnerships, and Ford’s commitment to excellence and innovation aligns perfectly with the spirit of this exceptional event," Casey Ramage, vice president of marketing and partnerships at Churchill Downs Racetrack, said in a news release. "We look forward to continuing to work together to deliver an unforgettable experience for Derby fans and guests."
