LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Lexington is the newest sponsor of the Official Gateway for Kentucky Bourbon Trail, announced by Kentucky Distillers' Association on Wednesday.
Lexington will receive prominent placement on the bourbon trail's website, marketing materials and signage. Lexington joins Bardstown, Louisville and Northern Kentucky as Official Gateway sponsors.
"With more than a dozen nearby distillery destinations, Bourbon is integral to Lexington’s economy and thriving tourism market," Mandy Ryan, director of Kentucky Bourbon Trail Experiences, said in a news release. "Lexington is doing a fantastic job showcasing the vibrant charm of our unique Kentucky Bourbon culture."
