LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Big Lots plans to close 315 stores nationwide, and one of them is in Louisville.
The store on Poplar Level Road, just north of Interstate 264, will close Oct. 13, almost exactly a year after it opened. The space is more than 41,000 square-feet with home décor and furniture.
Two other Kentucky stores are among the nationwide closures, including one in Lexington. Five stores will close in Indiana, though an Indianapolis location is the furthest south among that group.
