LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A hot spot for cool treats has reopened for the season.  

Polly's Freeze in Georgetown, Indiana opened this morning. The ice cream shop has been in business since 1952.

But it was in danger of closing for good when it shut down for the season last September, and the owners put it up for sale.

New owners stepped up to buy it last month.
