LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The YMCA of Greater Louisville has chosen a new president and CEO.
Gary Cobbs will replace outgoing president and CEO Steve Tarver, who is retiring after 23 years.
Cobbs previously served as the CEO of The YMCA of Greater Montgomery in Alabama and the YMCA of Middle Tennessee in Nashville.
He will officially take over the role on Jan. 16, 2024. The YMCA said it'll host a series of welcome events and introductions for staff members to meet and connect with Cobbs.
