LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - City officials have warned of dangerously low temperatures overnight and many businesses and organizations have closed their doors for Monday.

JCPS announced that school will be closed on Monday due to extreme cold weather and the dangers kids will face. Mayor Fischer and other city officials have urged residents to stay inside and avoid the dangerous temperatures.

Duke Energy has reported about 20,000 customers affected by power outages across Indiana from Sunday's heavy snow in Northern Indiana.
