LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 17-year-old who was shot and killed in Louisville's California neighborhood Wednesday night has been identified.
Taron Neal died of multiple gunshot wounds just after 10 p.m., according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.
The shooting happened in the 1600 block of West Kentucky Street, Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said. That's near South 16th Street, not far from California Park and St. Stephen Church.
Once on scene, officers found Neal and pronounced him dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but at last check had no suspects and had made no arrests.
