LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two men were taken to the hospital after a shooting at Shawnee Park Monday evening.

Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to Shawnee Park around 5:15 p.m. on a reported shooting.

Police found one man inside a vehicle who had been shot, and then discovered another man at the park who was shot in the arm.

Both men were taken to UofL Hospital with injuries police don't believe to be life-threatening.

It's unknown whether the victims know each other, Ellis said.
