FRENCH LICK, Ind. (WDRB) — Two men are wanted in several states, including Indiana, for a string of burglaries.

The French Lick Police Department said Andrew Sebastian Fretes, 22, and Dylan Metcalf, 22, pulled up to the ARCO on West State Rd. on May 26, 2026 to steal an ATM.

Two men steal ATM from ARCO gas station in French Lick

The French Lick Police Department shared this surveillance video after two men stole an ATM from an ARCO gas station.

"They look at places that has an ATM that is not attached to an official bank," French Lick Police Department Detective Jennie Deel said. "My guess is they're just traveling south. Just trying to get as far south as they can."

Surveillance video shows the suspects smashed the glass front door to get inside and drag the ATM out.

Fretes and Metcalf are wanted in several counties across at least three states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin and Indiana.

Deel said they've been doing this for years in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

"They're trying to do a last ditch effort to stay out of jail," Deel said.

Surveillance video shows a silver Audi was used in the ARCO theft. Deel said doesn't know if this getaway car is stolen, but it is from Pennsylvania.

The French Lick Police Department shared this surveillance video after two men tried to steal an ATM from a gas station.

"It doesn't return to anybody," she said. "It returns to an insurance company in Pennsylvania as title only. It's not been registered. It's not insured anywhere and the only plates that were on it were stolen."

The duo is accused of also using a blue Pacifica in Wisconsin before wrecking it. Deel said they'd still have the Audi if it weren't for the Jeffersontown Police Department.

Officers tracked it down to a motel and towed it away. Deel said the men were inside the motel at the time.

"We knew they were inside," she said. "We could hear them moving around, but at that time we didn't have any warrants for them."

She said Fretes and Metcalf ran away. However, officers found a mountain of evidence in the car and room, including Metcalf's phone.

"He left it unlocked and charged," Deel said. "He had pictures of guns and money on his phone."

She said the suspects are likely loose in Louisville. She said they should be considered armed and dangerous. People should not approach them.

"They don't have a very good history working with each other let alone any law enforcement," Deel said. "They're probably going to take another car and they will probably continue to head South."

If you see Fretes or Metcalf, Deel urges you to call police.
