LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Three people were arrested during a major narcotics investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Shamone Haggard, Dwight Haggard and Kenneth Roberson were arrested Tuesday.
LMPD said detectives received tips about several suspects distributing large amounts of narcotics who had recently taken a delivery of multiple kilos of cocaine.
During a traffic stop of one suspect, officers found individually-packaged baggies of cocaine. A search of a home later uncovered nearly two-and-a-half kilos of powder cocaine, several handguns and evidence pointing to drug activity as two more locations.
Searches there turned up additional narcotics, firearms and paraphernalia consistent with a large-scale trafficking operation.
