LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Three people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide Saturday evening in Laurel County.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, officers were informed at 10:43 p.m. that Barbourville City Police were in a pursuit connected to a possible domestic violence complaint. Police said three people had left a home to get something to eat.

Police said family members were concerned and called Knox County dispatch. The vehicle failed to stop, which led to a pursuit from Knox County into Laurel County.

According to police, the pursuit ended after the vehicle crashed into another vehicle.

Police found three people dead inside the vehicle. Police said all indications are that 21-year-old James Priddy shot and killed Jadence Ann Marie Hale and 19-year-old Kira Lila Hope Asher before killing himself.
