LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in downtown Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 400 block of 2nd Street, near the Omni Louisville Hotel. The initial investigation shows a man was in the middle of 2nd Street, when he was hit by a car that fled northbound toward the Clark Memorial Bridge after the crash.
Mitchell said the victim was transported to nearby UofL Hospital in critical condition.
