LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were killed in a triple shooting early Saturday morning near the Kroger store in west Louisville.
MetroSafe dispatchers said the shooting was reported just after 2 a.m. at Broadway and 28th Street in the Parkland neighborhood. Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded to find a man and woman shot. There was a "very large crowd" in the area at the time of the shooting he said.
Both victims were taken to UofL Hospital, where they died.
Mitchell said a third victim was taken by private means to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting, but there are currently no suspects.
