LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police is investigating a burglary at a pharmacy in Salem, Indiana. 

Officers with the Salem Police Department responded to a report of a broken front window at a vacant storefront between the Salem BMV branch and Good Living Pharmacy on Jim Day Road at 6 a.m. on April 7.

That's when officers discovered someone had broken into the pharmacy and contacted Indiana State Police for assistance. After further investigation, police found the perpetrators stole narcotics and cash from the pharmacy.

ISP says the burglary happened sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning. 

The investigation is ongoing. If you any have information about the burglary, you're asked to contact the Indiana State Police Post in Sellersburg at 812-246-5424.
