LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Jamarcus Glover, who was the target of the police raid that led to Breonna Taylor's death in March 2020, was back in a Louisville courtroom on Monday.

Walking into the courtroom in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs, Glover stood in front of Judge Jennifer Bryant Wilcox.

The arraignment lasted less than two minutes. Glover is facing multiple drug charges. The judge kept his $150,000 bond in place and set a court date for a pre-trial conference in April.

"We'll enter a not guilty plea for you today. Your bond is set at $150,000. You will be expected to hire private council," Wilcox said.

This is not Glover's only case currently going through the court system.

Glover failed to appear in court late last year on several drug charges after he was arrested. He was additionally charged with engaging in organized crime, drug trafficking, tampering with evidence and jumping bail.

In Jan. 2024, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force found Glover in Louisville.

Detectives opened an investigation into Glover after police said a 13-year-old girl died of a fentanyl overdose in April 2023. According to documents, Glover lived in the same home where the girl died, but he is not charged in the teen's death.

"The medical examiner's office determined that the cause of her death was overdose by fentanyl. Our investigators learned early on that Jamarcus Glover was one of the residents in this apartment. They also learned of the secondary address that was on Taylor Boulevard. So, very early on, he became the focus of our investigation," said St. Matthews Police Maj. Eddie Jones in Oct. 2023.

Jones also said weapons and drugs were found at both the homes. Glover and two other adults were arrested at the Taylor Boulevard residence. Jones said three teens found at that location were also charged.

Again, Glover hasn't been charged in the teen's death. A man in Nebraska, a woman in Owensboro and the teen's mother, who was in a relationship with Glover, posted his $20,000 bond on Oct. 1.

Glover was the target of Louisville Metro Police raids at several locations across the city in 2020, including the one where police killed Taylor.

In 2021, he pleaded guilty to a litany of crimes — mostly drug trafficking and possession — and was sentenced to five years of probation, with an eight-year prison sentence hanging over his head if he violated the conditions of the agreement.

As part of the plea deal, Glover was supposed to move to Mississippi.

For the case Glover appeared in court on Monday, Wilcox scheduled his next court appearance for April 16.
