LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Thursday, accused of running from police and hitting an officer with a bulldozer.
Jacob Geary was arrested after Louisville Metro Police went to his home in Pleasure Ridge Park to serve a warrant.
According to Geary's arrest report, he was in the bulldozer when police arrived and refused to get out.
When an officer tried to open the door, police said he started spinning the equipment, hitting an officer and a nearby car. LMPD said the officer was hit in the forehead, leaving a visible red mark on his head.
Police chased the bulldozer on foot, and Geary eventually agreed to get out.
Geary was charged with evading police and assaulting an officer. He pleaded not guilty in arraignment court Thursday morning, where a judge set his bond at $10,000.
