LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a man accused of stealing rocking chairs from an area Cracker Barrel.
According to an arrest report, on Saturday morning, police saw 58-year-old Joseph Napier driving a vehicle that had been involved in multiple thefts. As a result, police stay they stopped Napier, and arrested him on outstanding arrest warrants.
Police say that in a recorded statement, Napier admitted to stealing rocking chairs from the Cracker Barrel at 11000 Dixie Highway and sold them to a flea market on 7th Street for $50 a piece.
He also allegedly stole a moped from a location on New Cut Road and sold it to the same flea market.
Police say Napier had the identities of the individuals who purchased the stolen property.
He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, according to the arrest report.
