LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested after police said an argument over damaged property led to two people being held at gunpoint.
Shane Wilson, 20, was arrested Saturday night and charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Police said officers were called to a home on South 38th Street just after 10 p.m. for a domestic trouble run.
According to the arrest citation, the victim told officers the altercation started after Wilson came to the home demanding money from the victim's nephew over damaged property.
When the victim intervened, police said Wilson pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim.
Wilson continued to hold the two people at gunpoint and demand money, the citation said, so the victim gave him $200 "under the threat of deadly force."
When officers arrived, police said they saw Wilson walking through the home trying to leave to through the back. He was arrested shortly after.
Wilson was arraigned in court Monday morning. He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond and is expected back in court for a pretrial conference July 14.
