LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested after police witnessed a shooting in the Park Duvalle neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said detectives were on a routine patrol in the 1500 block of Cypress Street, near West Hill Street, around 4:45 p.m. when they watched a shooting occur.
Police apprehended the suspect and the victim was taken to University Hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.
The victim had a graze wound.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Unit is investigating the shooting. Mitchell said charges are pending against the suspect.
