LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot in killed in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood Monday morning.
According to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell, police responded to a call of a shooting at the intersection of Dixie Highway and W. Lee Street around 12:25 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to University Hospital where he later died of his injuries, according to Mitchell.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. There are no known suspects.
