LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police believe a crash on Bardstown Road led to a shooting late Friday night.
Matthew Sanders, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, says officers responded to a shooting around 10:34 p.m. in the 1000 block of Bardstown Road. That's near Baxter Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times.
LMPD believes there was a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle, which led to an argument and altercation between the driver and the motorcyclist. That led to shots fired.
A man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
According to police, all parties have been accounted for but no arrests have been made at this time but one person was detained.
Police said they believe a lot of people saw what happened so they’re asking for anyone with knowledge to reach out.
