LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are looking for a man who left a 4-month-old child in the car when he ran from a traffic stop.

The Louisville Metro Police Department said on social media officers tried to pull over Christopher Morris on Wednesday, but he "took off like a bat out of hell."

He abandoned his car in Village West then fled on foot. Police said he left his 4-month-old child in the back of the car when trying to get away.

Police said he has multiple felony warrants for his arrest: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, parole violation for felony offense, flagrant non-support and harassment with physical contact.

He's now being charged with child endangerment.

The baby was OK and picked up by a grandparent.
