LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman died nearly three days after being shot in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2700 block of West Madison Street just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday
Police found two women who had been shot.
Both were taken to UofL Hospital, where one of them sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but the second woman had been in critical condition.
On Tuesday, LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said the victim in critical condition died Monday. The name of the woman hasn't been released by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
