Man hospitalized after shooting near Louisville's Buechel neighborhood, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was hospitalized Sunday after being shot near Louisville's Buechel neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police responded around 10 a.m. to the 4600 block of Fegenbush Lane on a report of a shooting, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. That's near Norbrook Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside the location who had been shot in the leg.

Ellis said the man was alert and conscious when EMS transported him to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating and has no suspects.
