LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Shawnee neighborhood on Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of N. 37th Street, near West Market Street, around 5:30 p.m. Police found a man who had been shot outside.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with unknown injuries, according to Ellis.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the shooting as detectives are canvassing the area. There aren't any known suspects.
