LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Mt. Washington man is charged with murder after police said he killed a woman using an ax.
According to jail records, 67-year-old Richard Chesher was booked into the Bullitt County jail around 3:45 Saturday morning, charged with murder-domestic violence, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Mt. Washington Police said it "appears an ax" was used in the woman's murder. Police would not shared any other details, but said there is no threat to the public.
Chesher's arrest citation is not available at this time.
