LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A not guilty plea was entered Wednesday on behalf of a man accused of breaching airport security over the weekend.
Michael Van Bree didn't appear in person for his arraignment Wednesday morning, but his attorney was there on his behalf.
An arrest report said TSA agents found a gun Sunday morning in Van Bree's carry-on bag.
The report said Van Bree grabbed his bags, including the one with the gun, and walked into the secured area.
Security found Van Bree on Southwest Airlines Flight 3732 that was in the process of boarding to go to Chicago-Midway.
All of the passengers had to get off the plane and be re-screened.
The airport says all flights and TSA screening were paused.
Van Bree was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
