LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person was shot by a Kentucky State Police trooper in Hardin County early Sunday morning.

According to KSP, a trooper shot a person, who was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, around 1 a.m. The person's condition is unknown.

Police have released few details about the shooting. 

KSP's Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the incident.
