LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Four people were taken into custody Friday afternoon after two men were shot in the Shawnee neighborhood.
John Bradley, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers received reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Lindell Avenue around 10:45 a.m. That's off River Park Drive near Del Park Terrace in the Shawnee neighborhood.Â
When officers arrived at the scene they found a man who had been shot and began administering first aid. He was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment and police said he's in serious condition.Â
A person of interest was spotted not far from the crime scene entering a residence in the 3600 block of W. Broadway. LMPD's SWAT team responded and began a standoff at the residence.
The standoff ended a short time later as a man and three others were taken into custody.
Police said in an update later Friday afternoon that a second man was found inside the residence with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.Â
All parties involved in the incident have been accounted for, police said.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
