LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 68-year-old Scott County man is being held without bond after he was charged with multiple counts of child molestation involving two minors, according to Indiana State Police.
Robert Stewart was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his home.
The case began in February after a report from a case manager with the Indiana Department of Child Services triggered an investigation. Officials said allegations of sexual contact were then forwarded to state police.
Detectives interviewed the alleged victims during the investigation, according to officials.
Stewart faces 12 counts of child molesting.
He is being held at the Scott County Jail without bond while awaiting his initial court appearance.
